Blue Beyond Cottage - formerly an art gallery and studio - has been extended and refurbished and now offers comfortable accommodation with sea views.

The cottage overlooks a small secluded sandy beach. The beach is accessed by a grassed footpath adjacent to the building. Its easterly facing position gives views towards the lsles of Mull and Iona and it is a great place from which to admire Hebridean sunrises, coastal birds and marine wildlife. The owners are island residents and live locally.

Entrance Porch - with slate tiled floor and generous fitted storage cupboards and shelves. A ceramic radiator provides heating.
Living Room/Dining Area - a large comfortable room with spectacular sea views. The room has an oak floor and is furnished with a sofa, snuggle, dining table and chairs. There is a 32″ LCD TV with Freeview. Two large ceramic radiators provide heating.
Kitchen - fully fitted modern spacious kitchen with built-in BOSCH and NEFF appliances: combi-oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine/dryer and dishwasher. A glass door leads to a sheltered outdoor breakfast area with sea views to the east. The room has underfloor heating and a heated towel rail.
Bedroom - with an oak floor and a king size bed, chest of drawers, bookshelf, lamps and bedside cabinets. There is a built-in wardrobe with additional drawers and luggage store. Ceramic radiator.
En-Suite Bathroom - luxury fitted bathroom with a large walk-in shower, washbasin and WC. The room has a ceramic tiled floor with underfloor heating and a heated towel rail.
FACILITIES AND SERVICES
Heating is provided by ceramic radiators in every room in addition to underfloor heating in the bathroom and kitchen. These radiators can be simply operated individually at a touch of a button and can be easily boosted in cooler weather.
All linen and towels are provided and heating is included in the tariff. The house has complimentary wifi, a landline telephone and an outside tap and shower to rinse wet suits, kayaks and surfboards.
DIRECTIONS TO THE HOUSE
From the ferry terminal follow the B8068 to Scarinish. Continue to Crossapol and follow straight along the coast passing a farm and Island House until you reach a T- junction. Turn left and continue to Balemartine. Pass through the township heading south towards Hynish. The cottage is on the left.

OUTSIDE SPACE AND PARKING
There is a secluded breakfast area with table and chairs overlooking the sea with views to Mull and Iona. Beyond the paved path linking the two entrances an open space offers off-road parking and bench seats overlooking the sea. There is an outside tap and shower and a grass track leads directly to the beach.
INFORMATION FOR LESS MOBILE GUESTS
Flat paved area from parking place to both entrance and kitchen doors. Entrance porch, kitchen, living areas on one level with two steps to bedroom and adjacent bathroom on another level. Wide doorways between living room and kitchen and between bedroom and living room. Wood and tiled floor surfaces throughout.
This accommodation is for a maximum of two adults. There is one king size bed.
We are sorry that we cannot accommodate pets, babies or children.
The cottage is a no-smoking residence.
