This traditional style West Coast cottage has been recently renovated with new kitchen beds and more. It is routinely maintained and decorated and is well equipped throughout. The cottage stands on its own 1 mile from Scarinish, with lovely views of most of the island. This typical holiday home at No 3 Heanish is ideally located for you to explore Tiree or peruse your interests.

Conditions of Hire (abreviated)

As is the norm we would ask tenants to agree to run the cottage in a certain way
allowing the same conditions to apply to the next tenant. With the concern mainly
on you enjoying your time in the cottage we hope the following will be able to be
adhered to without too much difficulty. The cottage is privately run and hopefully
you will find comfortable with soft furnishings. So please take care of the property.

Please make sure everyone in your party understands the conditions here
and in the info pack in cottage.

We insist on no smoking in the cottage.

We do not allow pets.

Please bring your own linen. That is duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases,
dish towels and towels, we provide duvets and pillows. Or organise it with
the local supplier Telephone 01879220045 - fiona.macinnes@tireebroadband.com.

The sewage is by septic tank. This means only toilet paper down the toilet
and no cleaners containing bleach are to be used. Also no grease or solid
matter can be put down the drains.

Most importantly we ask if you would leave the cottage clean and tidy
as the previous tenants should have left it. Particular attention should be
paid to toilet, sinks, all kitchen surfaces, bath/shower area. All items
should be returned to ther origional places. We provide materials for cleaning.
Please clean the fridge & freezer and leave on for the next visitors.
This allows us to offer an immediate entry time.

2/ Contact us to confirm date is free and  the cost. £300-£490.
3/ I will reply
4/ Suggest you make sure the ferry is booked Tel: (01631) 566688
or at (www.calmac.co.uk/oban-coll-tiree-ferry-summer-timetable )
5/ Contact us again confirming you have read all of the website
(www.tireecottages.com), agree to the "Conditions of Hire" and that
you will read and will act on the Info Pack (more details of  the cottage)
which is in the cottage.
6/ I will reply and make a provisional booking.
7/ When I receive your £100 deposit. Sent to:

I will reply confirming your booking
8/ Full payment in full is due 6 weeks before stay.
9/ The key will be supplied on arrival and collected on your departure.
I0/ When you arrive take an electricity meter reading and another before you leave.
Payment is left in the cottage.
11/ The key will be supplied on arrival unless otherwise instructed.

 

 


ACCOMMODATION

GROUND FLOOR 

Sitting Room - 2 three seater couches, armchair, telephone, sky tv basic package , CD/ipod hi fi,36in television with dvd player and the main feature of a solid oak fireplace. Also unlimited broadband.

Kitchen - an extending table (4 to 6) with 4 matching chairs and an extra folding chair. There is a new integrated fitted kitchen with washing machine, microwave, hob, oven, fridge. Also adequate dishes and cooking utensils. Deep fat fryer and slow cooker. There is also a tumble drier and freezer in the porch.

Bathroom - is a reasonably spacious room with toilet, wash hand basin, bath with electric shower. There also is a heated towel rail and timed heater.

FIRST FLOOR 

Double Bedroom - has a built in wardrobe and a 3 drawer chest. Double bed with storage. Panel heater 

Twin room - has 2 single beds with storage. There also is a large double wardrobe with fold down bed, a 3 drawer chest plus bedside cabinet and a free view tv. Panel heater

FACILITIES AND SERVICES 

We have Sky basic package and Free view tv and unlimited broadband. There is a outbuilding for bikes and sport equipmen. We provide a  bunker for keeping material for the coal fire as we request they are not kept in the cottage. Similarly a bunker for outdoor shoes etc.   

DIRECTIONS TO THE HOUSE 

A quarter of a mile after you get off the ferry turn left at the crossroads follow sign for Scarinish. Passing through Scarinish you will pass the Royal Bank and the Co-op. We are one mile after leaving Scarinish on the road to Crossapol. You will go over a cattle grid and then you will pass a black roof house on the left. Our house is the next black roof house on the left, immediately by the roadside. The house name is on the gate.

OUTSIDE SPACE AND PARKING 

We have 3 patio areas with picnic tables. The cottage is in 40sq meter grounds mainly of grass. Cars can be taken into the grounds for parking.
