Beach House Back
The Beach House, a renovated Hebridean blackhouse with adjoining annex, is in a beautiful setting overlooking Caolas beach.
The house has extensive views across Gunna Sound towards Coll and beyond. From this quiet location you can often see seals, basking sharks, a variety of birds and the occasional otter without leaving this magical location. If the sun is out the colours of the sky, sand and sea are truly tropical. And if a storm is brewing it’s an excellent place to watch the drama unfold.
Open Plan Kitchen/Dining Area - with tiled floor throughout and well equipped modern kitchen with breakfast bar. There is a large dining table to accommodate six and a wood buring stove
Sitting Room - with comfortable seating, sideboard, a flat screen television with Freesat, a DVD player, Bose ipod docking station and broadband internet.
Utility/Drying Room - with a washing machine, tumble dryer, lots of storage, drying racks and plenty of coat hooks and boot trays.
Shower Room - with large shower and WC.
Double Bedroom - with drawers, bedside tables and lamps.
Twin Bedroom - with drawers and storage and comforatble seat.
Twin Bedroom - with bed side drawers, lamps and comfortable seat.
Bathroom - with bath and shower
FACILITIES AND SERVICES
The house has a secluded setting and overlooks a beautiful and quiet beach. In the distance you can see Munroes on the mainland as well as Mull and the Cuillins of Skye and Rhum. At the east end of Tiree the house is a fifteen minute drive to the pier and the local shops at Scarinish. The house has WiFi.
DIRECTIONS TO THE HOUSE
From the ferry follow the sings for Gott and Caolas. Pass the community turbine on your right and pass the signposted road for Milton on the right. Take the sharp left turn and continue over two cattle grids and take the second grass track on the right to arrive at The Beach House.
OUTSIDE SPACE AND PARKING
It has an enclosed grass garden and from here you can walk straight on to Caolas sandy beach. It is in a quiet spot where you can often watch seals, basking sharks, plenty of bird life and even otters without leaving this magical place.
Off-road parking is provided.
