Port Na Criche is a traditional Tiree Cottage (over 150 years old).
DISCLAIMER: it has a steep, narrow staircase, so please be aware of this if you have mobility issues. There is a downstairs double bedroom and bathroom, however.
Also, ** children should not be left unsupervised upstairs as the bannister is low and although there is an upstairs gate, it could be dangerous for younger children.** So please consider this before booking.

PLEASE NOTE: you will need to bring your own towels, tea towels and bed linen.

GROUND FLOOR
Kitchen/Dining Area - large dining kitchen with peninsula unit which includes all utensils, cutlery, a freezer, microwave, toaster and plenty of work-top space. There is also a large dish-washer, washing-machine, fridge. The large dining table seats 10. There are two storage heaters (one has a boost facility). Living room has seating for 8 and an open fire that can take logs or coal.
Living Room - with windows to the front and rear of the property. This area has seating for 8 people and an open fire that can take logs or coal. 
Double Bedroom - with a double-bed and cot with sea views and views to the rear. It has a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The storage heater has a boost facility.
Family Bathroom - with WC, wash hand basin, bath with an electric shower over the bath.
The hall has a modest under-stairs storage area for shies and coats.

FIRST FLOOR
Double Bedroom - with a double-bed.
Twin bedroom - with twin beds and sea views. Wardrobe and chest of drawers. Storage heater.
Bunk Bedroom - rear ‘dolls-house’ cabin-style bunk-room has 2 bunk-beds and a chest of drawers with views to the rear of the house. Small convector-style wall heater.
Double glazed throughout with storage heaters in all rooms.

FACILITIES AND SERVICES 
There is fibre broadband. There is a new smart TV which allows you to view internet channels (bring your fire-stick to view Amazon channels however).

Hall leads to downstairs double bedroom. Family bathroom is downstairs, off the hall. The living room is off the hall too and leads to the large dining kitchen.

Located beside Balephetrish Bay with the sea shore outside the front door and 5 minutes walk along the track to the main beach area. There is space for two medium-sized cars to the side of the house, beside the garden.

Accessibility

Unfortunately, as this is a traditional cottage it is not suitable for wheelchair access. It also has a very steep narrow staircase with a stair-gate at the top but none possible at the bottom.

    There are twin beds in one bedroom upstairs. Two bunk beds in the smallest bedroom upstairs. A double bed upstairs. And a double bed downstairs.

    Directions and Parking

    I will provide your instructions upon booking although if you look at google maps you will see it is at the end of the track as you look out towards the outer hebrides from Balephetrish Bay. The track in front of the property is a no through road which means you will be driving past the nearby farm house. It is a right-hand turn off the B8068 as you drive west and past the turn to Kenovay.
