Fabulous, large, traditional farmhouse on the coast but off the main road circuit. Exceptionally comfortable for a mid sized family or group. 6 is the ideal capacity. We charge extra for full capacity groups of up to 8 who may stress the water heating and disposal capacity.
Residents regularly enjoy watching local farm and wild life from the house eg cows and sheep,hares and seal and even basking sharks (sometimes!) from the upstairs bathroom
Porch – large and bright. Plenty of room for coats, boots and all sorts of other gear.
Hall – large, with desk and chair.
Kitchen/Dining - well equipped and recently renovated. Complete with 4-6 seat table, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of modern utensils.
Living Room - also recently renovated; high ceiling, candle chandelier, TV/DVD player and solid fuel stove. French windows to garden. Windows all round and velux in ceiling make this an exceptionally bright room.
Dining Room – large table with seating for 8. Spectacular glass screen wall with sea views to the north-west. Sunglasses often needed at supper time! French windows to patio.
Second Living Room / 4th bedroom – the cosiest room in the house with TV/DVD player and solid fuel stove. There is a double sofa-bed as well as a regular sofa. For use as a 4th bedroom you can either use the sofa bed or spare mattresses. Next to the 2 shower rooms. We do not regard the double sofabed as ideal for 2 adults.
Twin/double bedroom - Great views NW and NE. Adjacent to the two shower rooms. Kingsize double or twin beds.
Shower Room 1 - with walk-in shower, WC, hand wash basin and heated towel rail. Views over fields and sea from shower.
Shower Room 2 - a second shower room with walk-in shower, WC, hand wash basin and heated towel rail.
Utility Room - with spare fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer and sink. Links house to garage.
Master Bedroom - has three windows with views to SE, NE and NW. Kingsize double or twin beds.
Twin Bedroom - large room. Kingsize double or twin beds
Bathroom - luxurious freestanding bath; heated towel rail; views from bath to Balephetrish Bay and Mull.
FACLITIES AND SERVICES
Extra mattresses can be set up in any any of the bedrooms. If you use the second lounge as a 4th bedroom you still have plenty of "living space" in the main lounge, kitchen-diner and dining room.
Telephone - set to receive incoming calls only except by prior arrangement.
Wi-Fi Broadband Access - a BT Home Hub is installed.
OUTSIDE SPACE AND PARKING
Single garage: contains large freezer; ideal for storing bikes, windsurfers, fishing tackle, golf clubs etc.
Large, sunny garden to SW. Back garden and sheltered patio to NW with outside table and chairs. SE facing front garden for morning coffee in the sun.
