Port A’ Mhuillin Cottage Back
Detached, single-storey cottage in central location, south facing and overlooking the sea. Open April-September.
How close to the sea would you like to be? Breakfast outside while watching seals. By lunchtime it's basking sharks and then perhaps a glimpse of an otter while you enjoy a nightcap. Of course, apart from the sea view nothing is guaranteed. However, renting my cottage overlooking a small harbour and one of Tiree's original stone piers will increase your chances of seeing all these creatures. Oh, did I mention the gannets diving, the hares and all the wild flowers.
Just for two, the cottage and welcome tray will be ready for your arrival. The kitchen/sittingroom is well equipped with electric cooker, fridge, microwave etc. There is Freesat tv, a radio and natural and local history books.
The double bedroom is spacious and the bed has access from both sides so no climbing over your partner to put the kettle on in the morning. Of course there are bedside lights, hairdryer, storage, a full length mirror and a shaving point. The shower room is ensuite. Bed linen and towels are provided.
