Four Winds is a luxury architect-designed house overlooking Loch Bhasapol.
It is newly constructed within original stone walls and finished to the very highest standard. It is an excellent base for relaxing in comfort or enjoying watersports at the nearby loch and beaches.

The ground floor includes architectural features such as handmade polished Moroccan Tadelakt plaster, slate skirting and brass finishes. Solid oak flooring has underfloor heating from an airsource heat pump.
Entrance Foyer and Utility Room - Cobbled stone floor with space for hanging wet gear and leaving dirty boots. Shared use of washing machine, tumble drier and freezer.
Kitchen - Large, light, sunny, fully equipped room with solid walnut breakfast bar. Fitted fridge, microwave, coffee maker, electric Bosch oven and induction hob. Views to garden and loch from full height windows.
Two double bedrooms - with dedicated storage (one with en-suite shower room). Both have spectacular loch views.
Bathroom - with bath and mixer shower set.
The first floor is a single, expansive volume under an impressive curved wooden ceiling. The room has large rooflights receiving sunlight all day and has beautiful views of Loch Bhasapol. On a clear day it is possible to see as far away as Barra or Ben Nevis. The room is a great place to enjoy the sunrise and sunset or just watch the windsurfers and birdlife on the Loch from your chair next to the fire.
One end of the room includes a relaxing sitting area with flat screen TV and Morso log burning stove (the stove is only for emergency use due to environmental concerns). The other end of the room includes a Dining space. A fold-out single bed is available for this space.

DIRECTIONS TO THE HOUSE
From the ferry - turn right onto B8068 at the T junction and follow the signs to Cornaig and Balevullin. After 5 miles leave B8068 and go straight over the crossroads. Continue on this road beyond the Old Mill and Loch Bhassapol and beyond the loch take the first turning left. Follow this road and take the first left, then the left fork. Four Winds is the first house, with a yellow front door, parking on the gravelled area in front.
From the airport – turn right at the T junction and follow signs for Cornaig. Turn left at the junction overlooking Balephetrish Beach onto B8068 for one mile. Leave the B8068 and go staright over the crossroad. Continue on this road beyond the Old Mill and Loch Bhassapol and beyond the loch take the first turning left. Follow this road and take the first left, then the left fork. Four Winds is the first house, with a yellow front door, parking on the gravelled area in front.
OUTSIDE SPACE AND PARKING
Parking at front for two cars. Bikes can be left uncovered in the garden (and will be completely safe!).
There is a large, sunny garden with drying green and a small sheltered seating area. The garden is enclosed but has no secure fencing front or back. The rear garden enjoys views of Loch Bhassapol.
There is an outside tap for rinsing wetsuits and surfboards.
No smoking, no pets, no children under twelve years, no shoes indoors
INFORMATION FOR LESS MOBILE GUESTS
Loose gravel from parking place to front entrance and from both doors to garden with one step. One step from Entrance Foyer into the house. Wide doorways and wooden floors through-out.
We advise you to consider taking out travel insurance to cover the cost of your accommodation in the event that you have to cancel or the ferry or plane is unable to reach Tiree on your arrival or departure days. There are a number of on-line insurance providers, which may be able to provide cover and may be suitable for your specific purposes. Please also note that Four Winds is semi-detached to a neighbouring house (visible in some of the photos).
