The Reef Inn was built in 2020 and offers contemporary, scandi inspired interiors in all of its luxurious 8 bedrooms. With a bar and restaurant onsite and open every night for non-residents from April until end of September. B&B is available October until March in 2024/25.
Due to its modern design the Reef Inn also has underfloor heating throughout, high grade insulation and a ventilation system which replaces the wet, stale air with fresh, warmed Tiree air three times an hour. This ventilation system means the air quality inside the Reef in exceptional whilst remaining warm (each room has its own thermostat) and draft free.
All of our beds are designed to be extremely comfortable and we use organic bedding and towels. We avoid plastic disposables in the bathrooms and use refillable products from Faith in Nature. You have a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in each room and a delicious breakfast is included in your room rate.

The Reef has outdoor seating overlooking the Reef fields at the rear. A large carpark and additional seating to the front of the building.

From Scarinish, with the Co-op on your right hand side, head along the coast road towards Crossapol and the airport. After about five miles, you will head across an open section called The Reef. After the small shop and petrol station, you will see a children's play park. Turn right here, up the Kenovay Road, heading north towards the airport and Balephuil. The turning for the airport will be on your right hand side, continue on the Kenovay Road for another 200m, you should see the Reef Inn from a distance on your right hand side.
